Bulk mail

Bulk mail sends one email to a group of your members at once, for example a promotion to everyone tagged "VIP". You choose the members by their member tags and the content by a mail template; your website then sends the emails in the background. You find it under Bulk Mail in the left menu.

Tasks

• How bulk mail works: who receives the email, what it contains and how it is sent.
• Before you send: tag the members and have a mail template ready.
• Create and send a campaign
• Check progress and stop a campaign: see whether a campaign has finished, and cancel the emails not yet sent.
• The Mailchimp option: why you should send with the EZsite service for now.

Good to know

• A campaign cannot be changed after you save it. Check the title, template and recipients before you click Save.
• Bulk mail goes to members only. Visitors who signed up for your newsletter but have no member account do not receive it.
